Warranty
The buyer is obliged to inspect the goods upon receipt with regard to their identity and condition. No complaint will be accepted unless this inspection has been carried out. To be considered valid, any complaint concerning defects must be notified to us within five days of the goods being made available. No warranty is granted for hidden defects. No warranty is provided:
a) for visible defects where the goods have been worked on or processed;
b) for hidden defects where the stated instructions for use have not been followed or where the goods have not been handled properly.
Our obligations are strictly limited to the free replacement or repair of the delivered goods, without any additional compensation. Damage or shortages will only be accepted if protested at the time of receipt. Any warranty on pool works and construction lapses if work is carried out by third parties (renovations, repairs, etc.).
If the seller provides packaging material for delivery against a deposit, our packaging conditions apply. A copy of these conditions can be obtained from the seller upon request. The deposit will be forfeited if the packaging is not returned to the seller within two months.
In the event of termination of the sale at the expense of the buyer, the buyer shall owe compensation, fixed at 20% of the amount of the sale or of the cancelled part thereof, without prejudice to our right to claim higher compensation based on the actual damage suffered and proven, as well as any costs incurred as a result of the termination.
