Adding polyphosphate to liquid chlorine prevents the formation of crystallisation at the injection valve that causes clogging and chlorine leaks. The polyphosphate crystals chemically inhibit the formation of deposits (crystallisation) on liquid chlorine injection valves. Polyphosphate in the 20-litre chlorine reservoir will prevent the liquid chlorine injection valves from becoming clogged with deposits.
