Powerful disinfection through hydrolysis
Hydrolysis splits water molecules (H₂O) into hydrogen and oxygen atoms, creating highly reactive free radicals: OH⁻ (hydroxyl radical), O (atomic oxygen), O₃ (ozone), H₂O₂ (hydrogen peroxide), and O₂ (oxygen). These oxidants are more effective than chlorine, neutralizing contaminants within seconds – then safely reverting back to water.
To ensure a residual effect in the pool, a small amount of sodium hypochlorite is generated. This requires only 1.5 grams of salt per liter of water. The result: a powerful yet eco-friendly disinfection process, safe for swimmers and installations.
