TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The working principle of hydrolysis oxidation is based on the ability of copper (Cu+) and silver (Ag+) as flocculants and bactericides, as well as a
hydrolysis system to split water molecules into oxygen, ozone and peroxide. Together, this provides complete water treatment based on oxidation-
flocculation without chemicals. In water with low conductivity (from 500 mS), OH, Ozone, peroxide and oxygen are automatically produced on site
for water disinfection. The system also contains a copper/silver ioniser. Adding salt is not necessary. However, the system can operate with >1 gram
of salt / litre to additionally produce chlorine. Salt concentration is possible from 0 to 100 grams NaCl / litre. Hydrolysis splits water molecules (H2O)
into H and O atoms creating free radicals. These free radicals form oxidants that are more powerful than chlorine: OH- (radical hydroxide), O (atomic
oxygen), O3 (ozone), H O2 (hydrogen peroxide) and O2 (oxygen). The advantage of this is that these radicals disinfect within a few seconds and then 2
fall back into water; so no harmful by-products are produced as with chlorine. In addition to these free radicals, a small amount of sodium hypochlorite is made to ensure a residual effect in the pool. The additional copper/silver ionisation greatly increases the power of the hydrolysis. The antibacterial and algaecide properties of copper/silver ionisation are complemented by the high oxidation power of the hydrolysis system which together results in natural water purification, without the addition of chemicals.
