The Sugar Valley Hidrolife works on the basis of salt electrolysis, which automatically creates sodium hypochlorite in lightly salted water (> 3 grams NaCl / litre) on site for water disinfection. When salt (NaCl) dissolves in water, Sodium and Chloride ions are formed. The titanium electrolysis cells turn these ions into sodium hypochlorite. This makes the addition of chlorine 100% unnecessary. Salt concentration is possible from 3 to 100 grams NaCl / litre. The sodium hypochlorite disinfects the water and removes unpleasant odours of bound chlorine (chloramines) and eliminates other physical discomforts of chlorine, such as red eyes or dried-out skin.
