Heat exchanger
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The SWEP heat exchanger is available with a capacity of 40, 60 or 80 kW / h.
- A capacity of 40 kW / h is recommended for swimming pools with a volume of up to 65 m3
- The heat exchanger with a capacity of 60 kW / h is recommended for pools with a capacity of 65 m3 to 120 m3
- The 80 kW / h heat exchanger is recommended for larger volumes
Not sure about the choice of heat exchanger? Do not hesitate to contact us. The starting points (capacity, temperature ranges, flows and permissible pressure losses) determine the necessary execution and whether it may even be necessary to deviate from these standards.
Typically, large volume flows cannot flow through the relatively small connections of the heat exchanger, which is why, in practice, swimming pools often require a bypass, with only part of the total flow (pool-side) flowing over the exchanger and a larger part using a bypass around the exchanger.
The SWEP heat exchanger is especially recommended when you want to heat your pool on short notice (1-2 days). Those who like to have hot water continuously (e.g. someone who swims daily) are better off using the more energy-efficient heat pumps. In fact, this will make a big difference to you in the final bill.
The SWEP heat exchanger is a double-walled unit with dry separation. This heat exchanger is made of acid-resistant material (AISI 316 stainless steel) because it is often used in conditions with a high risk of weathering. To fix the SWEP heat exchanger, it is best to use a bracket preferably made of stainless steel.
